All students must strictly observe the rules of the school.

School Uniform And Appearance
- Wearing the school uniform is compulsory on all school days and during school functions.
- Students must attend school neat, clean, and well-groomed at all times.
- Hair should be properly trimmed, neatly combed, and well-maintained.
- Students are expected to maintain a presentable appearance that reflects school discipline.
- All students must wear the complete school uniform on every working day, including Saturdays.

Punctuality And Attendance
- Pupils must be punctual for class on every working day.
- Late-comers coming late more than 5 times should not enter the class without the written permission of the principal.
- All applications for leave should be written and signed by the parent or guardian of the pupil.
- Oral or phone messages will not be accepted.
- If Medical leave, Medical Certificate is to be submitted compulsorily.
- Pupils, who attend the morning session, should themselves obtain prior permission if they intend to absent themselves in the afternoon. The letter of the parent is necessary for such leave.
- If the pupil falls ill during school hours, they will be allowed to call their parents with Principal’s permission to leave the school accompanied by the parent.
- For any grave reason, if a pupil is absent without prior permission, on their return he must submit a letter from his parent / legal guardian, stating the reason for the absence and obtain permission before entering the class.
- A student absenting themselves from school for 10 days or more, without permission will be removed from the school.
- Attendance in any official school functions like Exhibition, Sports Day, Independence Day, School Annual Day, etc., is compulsory. Absentees may be fined or penalized.
Discipline
- Pupils are expected to behave in a courteous and gentle manner on all occasions. They should address their teachers and all members of the staff with due respect and politeness.
- Good moral behaviour and gentle ways are prerequisites of every student.
- They should always remember that the school is judged by their conduct.
- All students must strictly observe the rules of the school.
- Neglecting homework, irregular attendance, habitual idleness, objectionable moral behaviour, disobedience, disrespect towards the members of the staff, and any unseemly conduct or breach of school discipline justify dismissal.
- A pupil whose presence is not beneficial to the general spirit or moral well-being of the school shall be asked to withdraw.
- Any serious breach of discipline and all acts of disrespect and disobedience to the members of the school staff, inside or outside the school premises, will be viewed seriously.
- Pupils are instructed to be clean and tidy in their dress, books, and all their belongings.
- In the classroom, a place is allotted to each student by the class teacher, and no student may change it by herself/himself.
- Similarly, students are not allowed to move around the classroom or leave without permission.
- Every student should bring the school handbook to school regularly.
Objects Found Intolerable
- Pupils are strictly forbidden to bring any sort of comic books or playing cards, objectionable literature, or any materials deemed harmful to the school’s moral principles.
- Pupils are not allowed to bring crackers, explosives, or other dangerous materials to school.
- Pupils must not bring any electronic gadgets, for example, a cellular phone or digital wristwatch, etc.
Examinations
- Students must not carry any books, notes, or loose papers into the Examination Hall.
- No writing or doodling is permitted on the question paper.
- Every student should arrive well-prepared with all necessary stationery and drawing tools.
- Borrowing or lending of materials during the examination is strictly forbidden.
- Only transparent stationery pouches are allowed inside the hall.
- Wearing smart watches or digital gadgets during examinations is not allowed. Students may, however, use a simple analog watch.
Discipline And Behaviour
- Students must maintain absolute silence throughout the examination period.
- Any form of dishonesty or unfair practice during the examination will result in severe disciplinary action.
- Students who assist or support others in malpractice will face the same level of punishment.
- Depending on the seriousness of the offence, dismissal from the school may be imposed
Action Against Malpractice
- A student caught cheating or abetting another will be given zero marksin that particular subject.
- The offender may also face suspension as decided by the Principal.
- Repetition of malpractice will lead to permanent dismissal from the institution.
Campus Language
- As English is the medium of instruction, only English should be spoken in the school premises.
- Any violation of this rule may result in the suspension of the student.
- Parents are encouraged to converse with their children in English.
Prior Permission
- No monetary collection of any kind shall be conducted by anybody without the prior permission of the Principal.
- Any complaint or request to the school must be submitted only after getting the Principal’s approval.
- No pupil is permitted to leave the school during school hours without written permission from the Principal.
Damage To School Property
- It is forbidden to write or scribble on the walls, desks, etc., throwing paper or ink in the classroom, or in any way damage the school property. Damage done must be paid for at the discretion of the Principal.
Withdrawls
- Application for withdrawal needs to be submitted before December 31st of that academic year.
- Mail to send email – info@agpsperavallur.com specifying the student’s name, class, section, and admission number.
- T.C. will be issued after the completion of the academic year (after March 31st).
- Clear all the dues before collecting the T.C.
School Diary
- The school diary is a record concerning the student. Therefore, every student should take special care of it and bring it to school daily. A duplicate school diary can be purchased by the students only on a written request from the parents and with the permission of the Principal. A fine of Rs. 100/- plus the cost will be charged if the student loses the original diary.
Identity Cards
- An Identification Card will be issued to each student at the start of the academic year and must be brought to school daily along with the Hand Book.
Clubs
The school has many clubs that provide facilities for students to develop their skills in various other than academics. Every student is expected to become a member of at least one club. The following are the clubs:

Parent-Teacher Meetings
Parent-teacher meetings will be held on a Saturday as notified from time to time. Parents are requested not to miss this opportunity of meeting the teachers and discussing the progress of their children.
